Bassist Paz Lenchantin leaves Pixies as band announce alternative


Pixies have introduced that bassist Paz Lenchantin has left that band.

In a put up shared to social media at present (March 4), the band introduced the musician’s departure and revealed her alternative for his or her upcoming tour, writing: “Paz Lenchantin, who joined Pixies in 2014, has exited the band to focus on her personal initiatives.

“We’re grateful for Paz’s many contributions, and need her all the easiest going ahead.”

In her place, the band introduced that they have been “delighted” to welcome Emma Richardson, previously of Band of Skulls.

“Emma will make her worldwide touring debut with Pixies on the primary evening of the Bossanova x Trompe le Monde” European tour, starting this Friday in Dublin.”

Lenchantin was earlier a member of Zwan and A Good Circle. In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2022, the musician revealed that she was an enormous fan of Pixies rising up.
